1. Dust particles may stick to the finish during the drying process. Please do not pick at them, but allow them to naturally smooth out over time.
2. You must inform the technician if you would NOT like the free slip-resistant surface PRIOR to the start of the job (it can not be removed after the completion of the job)
3. Don't use reglazed surface for at least 5 hours after completion.
4. Never use abrasive cleaners such as Ajax or Comet or those containing bleach. Only use Soft Scrub w/out bleach, Formula 409 or Simple Green.
5. Don't use bath mats, other stick-on apparatus/material, or any type of painters tape on reglazed surfaces. It will damage the surface.
6. Fix dripping faucets ASAP or it will cause color discoloration. Don't leave soap/bottles standing on any surfaces. Never let chemicals like dye, bleach, drain openers stand on bath surfaces.
7. If your refinishing job is on any fiberglass or plastic material, Tub Coaters can not warranty cracks nor be responsible for property damage due to the fact that plastic underneath the coating, unlike metal, can crack at any time. Rust cannot be warrantied due to old metal that can exist sometimes.
8. Request for re-visits are only $45 for the first year after service date (n/a for service calls), however please review the job at the completion before tech leaves your home to address any issues if you would like, before the technician leaves. Tub Coaters does not warranty or take responsibility for any plumbing or leaks from tub or surrounding areas, nor warranty caulking. There are no warranties on kitchen sinks.
9. Please ventilate the home to remove any remaining strong odors.
10. All deposits paid are used for date commitments and are non-refundable along with the final job payment.
11. We use blue painters tape to mask off painted walls in areas surrounding our work. After the blue painters tape is removed, customer agrees that there is no guarantee that it won't remove some paint.
12. If shower doors are removed by Tub Coaters to complete a refinishing job, customer is responsible for the doors & the customer may have to re-install them 24 hours later. Tub Coaters takes no responsibility for the doors in either scenario.
13. There is no warranty on fiberglass / plastic tub cracks as they can crack at anytime due to weight, lack of proper support underneath, etc.
14. All of our prices include a 3% cash/check discount. Credit card payments will be 3% higher. Writing a bad check is a crime. Tub Coaters reserves the right to use any credit card on file to clear any outstanding balance (plus the 3% fee) if a check does not clear.
Payment is affirmation of completion and job satisfaction. I agree with the terms of Care & Maintenance.
