SERVICE CALL INFORMATION
*Our Service Call and Diagnostic fee for a home appliance is $80 plus tax, due @ completion of service call. The Service Call and Diagnostic fee for a home appliance covers our normal service area. Anything outside of our normal service area will have an additional fee applied.
The Service Call includes the trip to the home and the diagnosis of your appliance. Parts, labor and all applicable taxes are quoted after diagnosis. In some cases, a more in-depth diagnosis will be needed to diagnose correctly. When this occurs, additional labor may be added.
*The Diagnostic fee for an additional appliance while already at the service location is $20 plus tax, due @ completion of service call.
While already at the service location the technician will diagnose an additional appliance per the customer request. Parts, labor and all applicable taxes are quoted after diagnosis. Fee is per each additional appliance. In some cases, a more in-depth diagnosis will be needed to diagnose correctly. When this occurs, additional labor may be added.
**NOTE** If your appliance/product is under any type of warranty please contact the manufacturer or extended warranty company directly to schedule service.
***NOTE*** If your appliance/product is in a commercial environment or multi-housing/multi-family environment then commercial rates may apply.

PARTS
For parts, we honor the manufacturer’s warranty. That's why we primarily only install OEM parts. In some cases, if there is no OEM part available and only an aftermarket part is available then the aftermarket part will be offered as an option. We only install parts that we sell, we will not install or stand behind parts that have been purchased from anyone other than Southern Tennessee Appliance Repair Service.

FACTORY WARRANTY INFORMATION
If your appliance is under (1) year of age or still in the factory warranty period, then you will need to reach out directly to the brand of your appliance. Their customer service will issue a dispatch number authorizing the repair of the product. Unfortunately, Southern Tennessee Appliance Repair Service is not set up to repair your appliance that is under factory warranty at this time. To take advantage of the warranty of your product you will need an authorized warranty servicer for the brand that you have.
EXTENDED WARRANTY INFORMATION
If your appliance is out of the normal factory warranty period and has an extended warranty, you must contact the extended warranty company to set up a service appointment. The phone number you need to call can be found on your extended warranty certificate. If you are unable to locate that, please contact the dealer from which you purchased the unit from, and they should be able to provide the appropriate information on your extended warranty. Unfortunately, Southern Tennessee Appliance Repair Service is not set up to repair your appliance that has an extended warranty at this time. To take advantage of the extended warranty of your product you will need an authorized extended warranty servicer for the brand of extended warranty that you have.
LEGAL STUFF
Warranty on service call, labor or parts applies only when you have paid Southern Tennessee Appliance Repair Service directly for a particular repair. Otherwise, your warranty is only the duration of the warranty you have with the manufacturer and/or extended warranty company. Our warranty does not cover food loss or loss of use. Single family home use only. Your product must be installed as per manufacturer guidelines and properly maintained to be eligible for our warranty.
MORE LEGAL STUFF
When booking a job on-line or verbally scheduling a service call you are confirming the appliance in question is not covered by any type of warranty. You agree to pay the Service Call fee and additional diagnostics labor (if needed) +tax at the completion of the service call. Parts, labor & all applicable taxes are extra if needed. We will Quote you for the entire repair once problem has been diagnosed by our technician. You agree to have payment for services ready upon completion. You agree to have the product accessible. You agree to have your driveway accessible during inclement weather.
TERMS & CONDITIONS OF APPLINACE INSTALLATIONS
Appliance installation refers to the process of setting up and connecting a new appliance to the existing utilities (such as electricity, gas, plumbing, or water) in a safe and functional manner. This includes placing the appliance in the designated location, ensuring it is level, securing it in place if required, connecting utilities, testing functionality, and ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines.
The technician will perform the installation of the appliance as described above.
Any additional installation materials or parts required that are not included with the appliance will be the customer’s responsibility.
The technician will not make structural modifications to floors, cabinets, walls, or countertops. Any necessary alterations beyond the standard installation process will be the customer’s responsibility.
Delivery of the appliance can be arranged for an additional fee.
Unboxing and inspection of the appliance can be performed for an additional fee.
Removal and haul-off of the old appliance can be performed for an additional fee.
The technician is not responsible for pre-existing issues with electrical, plumbing, gas connections or venting. Any repairs, upgrades, or adjustments needed to meet installation requirements are the customer’s responsibility.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the installation area is clear and accessible prior to the scheduled service.
Water and Gas Shut-off Disclaimer: The technician is not responsible for faulty or failing water or gas shut-off valves. If valves are defective or fail during the installation, the customer assumes all responsibility for any resulting damage or necessary repairs.
Liability Waiver: The company is not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing issues, including but not limited to weak flooring, faulty plumbing, outdated electrical wiring, or improper dryer venting or range hood venting.
Warranty Disclaimer: The installation service does not include any warranty coverage for the appliance itself. Any manufacturer defects or performance issues are the responsibility of the appliance manufacturer.
Non-Fitting Appliance Fee: If the new appliance does not fit or cannot be installed for any reason (including size incompatibility, improper connections, or space constraints), the installation fee will still be applied.
Leveling Disclaimer: If the floors or cabinets are uneven, the appliance will be leveled to the best of the technician's ability, given the circumstances. However, the company cannot be held liable for issues arising from structural imperfections or unlevel surfaces.
