ELIZABETHTOWN OVERHEAD, INC. -- Company / Customer Policy

ELIZABETHTOWN OVERHEAD, INC. PAST DUE ACCOUNTS

Unpaid invoices 30 days past due are subject to a late fee of $25. At 45 days past due accounts accrue interest at 12% per annum. Should collection measures become necessary, jurisdiction and venue shall lie in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and purchaser agrees to pay all reasonable attorney’s fees and costs associated with collections. After 45 days the property is subject to a construction lien. All cost associated with lien for implementation and removal will be added to total amount due. For contractors – this means we will contact the property owner and inform them of our intent to file a lien on their property. Collections will be handled RSG COLLECTIONS and/or by the Law Offices of Shushok & McCoy, Inc. They will try to collect, report to credit reporting agencies, and possibly garnish wages or income tax returns.

ELIZABETHTOWN OVERHEAD, INC. RETURNED CHECK POLICY

Any checks returned NSF will be subject to a returned check fee of $50. The NSF check will be turned over to the Hardin County Prosecutor for collections. They will charge you an additional $50 for filing fees. Once the check has been turned over to the Hardin County Prosecutor, we can no longer accept payment and you will be responsible to the Prosecutor’s office for payment on this account.

ELIZABETHTOWN OVERHEAD, INC. SPECIAL ORDER POLICY

Special Order items require a 50% deposit to be paid prior to ordering. If your order is cancelled, your deposit may be forfeited to cover the cost of reselling. If your order is resold, discounts, storage and stocking fees, will be forfeited from your deposit. Storage and stocking fees are accrued at a rate of $5.00 per week. Any remaining funds from your balance, after the above referenced expenses, will be returned to you. Should expenses to resell your order exceed your deposit, you will be responsible for any remaining balances. Purchaser agrees to pay all reasonable attorney’s fees and costs associated with collections.

CUSTOM DETAIL - ESTIMATES

Custom details are free. Additional charges may apply in the event changes or additions become necessarily made either by customer or are required due to the necessity of additional parts or labor to complete the job. ESTIMATES: 1. Estimates are only good for 30 days; 2. Phone estimates are NOT guaranteed, and 3. Estimates are not guaranteed 100%. Additional construction or material cost may add to the final invoice total.

DOOR STORE PURCHASE

Door store purchases may have a faster turnaround time. Additional freight charges apply. Typically, this is a minimal $35 fee.

We protect personal information by maintaining physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that meet or exceed applicable law. We train our employees in the proper handling of personal information. Your address, any telephone numbers, and credit card information are protected with due diligence. Information that we collect will only be shared in the event your account falls into delinquent status and is processed for collections. When we use other companies to provide services for us, we require them to protect the confidentiality of personal information they receive.

WARRANTY – GUARANTEE
ELIZABETHTOWN OVERHEAD INC.

Elizabethtown Overhead Inc provides product warranty based on manufacturer. Warranties vary depending on manufacturer and model. Note general warranty herein for Liftmaster (Chamberlain) and Professional Garage Door Manufacturing.

Elizabethtown Overhead Inc. provides a warranty on any labor performed for one year unless noted in invoice. This warranty does not include new damage or new issues that might arise. Batteries and bulbs are not under warranty. Additionally, we warranty springs for a four-year period for typical use. This is for standard use as the spring life is based on usage.

We strive to be fair and honest in our service. We believe you will be satisfied with the service that you receive.

Warranties can differ depending on where you purchased the product. For more specific warranty information, check your owner's manual. To download a copy of your Chamberlain owner's manual, enter the model number in the search field above. The model number can usually be found under the light lens cover.
If there is a problem with parts during the warranty period – Contact us or Chamberlain’s Tech support. To contact us: Elizabethtown Overhead Inc., 270-763-9121. Or to contact Chamberlain's Technical Support Center and we will attempt to help you solve the problem. If a defect is discovered, we will ship a new part for no charge. Instructions are provided with every part so the owner can install it themselves.
Service is not covered by the warranty. If the owner chooses to have a professional technician service the garage door opener, the owner is responsible for any service charges.
Once the warranty expires, it is reasonable to expect a charge for any parts or labor that may be required to keep the product in proper working order.
