1. Payment: Payment is due in full upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed upon. We accept Cash, Zelle, and major credit cards.
2. Pricing & Extra Work: Our flat-rate pricing covers standard vent cleaning based on the floor location. Any necessary repairs, part replacements, or vent rerouting will be quoted separately and must be approved by the customer prior to work beginning.
3. Pre-existing Conditions: Dryer Vent Services is not liable for pre-existing damage to dryer appliances, hidden ductwork, or structural issues. If disconnected or damaged ducts are discovered inside walls or ceilings, we will notify you immediately.
4. Access: The customer agrees to provide clear and safe access to the dryer unit and the exterior vent cover.
5. Cancellations: Please provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
6. No-Show & Service Call Fee: If our technician arrives for a scheduled appointment and is unable to gain access or reach the customer via door, phone, or text for more than 20 minutes, a $100 service call fee will be charged.
7. Appliance Moving & Liability: While we take the utmost care, moving heavy washers and dryers carries an inherent risk of scratching floors or loosening aging gas/water/electrical connections. The customer assumes this risk. We are not liable for floor damage or failing plumbing/gas lines caused by moving the appliance for access.
8. Pets & Minors: For their safety and to prevent escapes through open doors, please keep children and pets away from the work area and equipment at all times.
9. Right to Refuse Service: We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service if the work environment is deemed unsafe, highly unsanitary, or hazardous to our technician.
10. Non-Standard Ductwork Liability: We do not accept liability for damages occurring during the cleaning of non-code compliant or non-standard ductwork, specifically flexible foil ("flexi") or vinyl ducts located inside walls or ceilings. These materials are fragile and prone to failure; cleaning is performed at the customer's own risk.
