Terms & Conditions – Clean Exteriors LLC
1. Agreement & Quote Validity
Acceptance of this quote constitutes a legally binding agreement for the scope of work at the agreed price. Quotes are valid for 90 days from the date issued.
2. Deposits & Scheduling
Projects exceeding $1,000 require a deposit to secure scheduling.
Cancellations made with less than 5 business days written notice may result in retention of 50%–100% of the deposit to cover incurred costs.
3. Payment Terms
Payment is due in full upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Balances unpaid after 30 days will incur a 5% late fee every 30 days.
4. Utilities Access
Client agrees to provide access to water and electrical supply as required to complete services.
5. Site Preparation
Client is responsible for removing or securing items including, but not limited to: furniture, grills, planters, décor, and personal property.
Additional labor charges may apply if removal is required by our team.
6. Safety
Children and pets must be kept off treated surfaces for a minimum of 24 hours after service completion.
7. Post-Service Results
Water spotting may occur as surfaces dry. Window cleaning is not included unless specified.
8. Gutter Cleaning Limitations
Gutter cleaning does not include removal or cleaning beneath gutter guards/screens unless specifically stated in the quote.
9. Pre-Existing Conditions
Clean Exteriors LLC is not responsible for damage resulting from pre-existing issues including, but not limited to:
Improper installation (siding, gutters, windows, etc.)
Loose or damaged materials
Wood rot, faulty construction, or deteriorated surfaces
Improper sealing, caulking, or structural defects
10. Scope of Cleaning
Services are intended for the treatment of organic growth (moss, algae, lichen).
Removal of non-organic stains (oil, rust, grease, oxidation) is not included unless specified.
Service Guarantee
Soft Wash Services: Minimum 1-year no new organic growth guarantee
Full Roof Treatments: Up to 4-year limited guarantee, subject to:
Annual maintenance (debris removal, roof clearing, etc.)
Proper property upkeep
Limitations:
Roofs with overhanging trees (within ~20 ft) or heavy debris exposure qualify for a 1-year guarantee only
Guarantees are address-based and transferable
11. Debris Disposal
Client authorizes disposal of debris in on-site yard waste containers.
12. Environmental Compliance
All services are performed in accordance with applicable regulations, including Washington State and local stormwater best management practices (WAC 173-200).
13. Marketing Authorization
Client grants permission for Clean Exteriors LLC to use before and after photos for marketing and promotional purposes.
Permanent Holiday Lighting Terms
Includes a 5-year limited warranty on parts and installation (manufacturer defects only)
Installation layout is finalized upon approval and cannot be modified after order processing
Client Responsibilities:
Provide functional 110V power outlets
Ensure circuits have adequate electrical capacity
Warranty Exclusions:
This warranty does not cover damage resulting from:
Misuse, abuse, or accidental damage
Unauthorized modifications or repairs
Improper installation by third parties
Power surges, extreme weather, or acts of God
Failure to reasonably protect installed components
