Glass Replacement Department Warranty Policy

Terms and Conditions:

Important Notice:
The Windshield Re-calibration or reset of sensor cameras in the windshield, which are essential for driver safety features such as:
- Lane Departure Warning Systems (LWDS)
- Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS)
- Lane Keep Assist (LKAW)
- Collision Mitigation Braking, etc is a separate process from windshield installation, If we do not charge for windshield calibration, we are not responsible for calibration.
- Please consult your vehicle's owner's manual or contact your dealer for more information.

Important Note:
The Rear View Mirror, may appear loose or move slightly, even before removal. This is a common occurrence and does not indicate a problem. The Rear View Mirror, is still securely fastened, despite its slight movement. Please check this before the installer arrives and refrain from worrying if you notice any movement - it's entirely normal. The Rear View Mirror, is designed to allow for slight adjustments and will not fall or become detached

Windshield Replacement Warranty and Guidelines
Lifetime Warranty:

We provide a lifetime warranty on our labor of the installation only, but please note that this warranty does not cover parts or materials."
- Air leaks
- Water leaks
- Molding (if needed)
Limitations and Exclusions:
We are not responsible for repairs if the repair area contains:
- Rust
- Bad paint
- Chipped paint
- Any other defect
We are not responsible for air or water leaks and existing rust around pinch weld areas

Post-Installation Guidelines:
- Do not drive the car for 3-6 hours after windshield replacement to comply with safe driving standards
Important Notice:
If your invoice indicates that a urethane adhesive was applied to firmly attach the windshield to the car's frame, this means that High Viscosity Urethane Adhesives have been used. This type of adhesive allows for faster drying and creates a strong bond between the windshield and the car's frame.
Please note that if there is no additional charge for High Viscosity Urethane Adhesives on your invoice, you should not drive your car earlier than the indicated time. This is a crucial condition to ensure the safety and integrity of the windshield installation.
If your invoice does not specify this, please contact us for further guidance to avoid any potential risks or complications
- Do not wash the car until after 24 hours
- Remove any blue tape after 3 hours, In the event of any damage related to the blue tape, the customer must contact us at the exact moment the time limit to remove the tape, as indicated in the terms. Failure to do so will result in the warranty being invalidated.
To clarify, if a claim is made after the specified time limit, the warranty will not be valid. It is essential to contact us promptly at the designated time to ensure warranty coverage.

Important Notice:
Over time, Windshield Cowl rubber seal and Cowl End Pane,l and Fairing Clip Sets, that secure plastic trim and panels around the windshield deteriorate due to heat and rain exposure, causing them to lose their strength and break easily upon removal. To facilitate windshield replacement, all clips and surrounding components must be removed. Please note that if the invoice does not include a charge for a new, Windshield Cowl rubber seal, Cowl End Panel, Cowling Clip Set, we will not be responsible for replacing them or addressing any future problems that may arise from their malfunction.

Important Notice:
Please note that all aftermarket parts, such as molding panels, are designed to serve as aesthetic replacements around the windshield. While they may vary slightly in terms of appearance, size, or finish, these variations do not
compromise the safety and security of the windshield installation in any way. The aftermarket parts may have minor differences, such as:
- Aesthetic variations
- Slight size differences (e.g., to millimeter)
- Changes in finish or texture
However, these variations do not affect the safety and security of the windshield, which remains fully intact and functional
If maintaining the original appearance is crucial for you, please request OEM parts in advance of your scheduled appointment. This allows us sufficient time to research pricing and availability. Please note that if OEM moldings are not specified and charged on the invoice, we will not be responsible for any resulting appearance variations. To ensure a precise match, please order OEM parts ahead of time, and we will accommodate your request.

Liability Limitations:
We will not be liable for any repairs that are not related to glass, including:
- Damage to the body of the car
- Scratches
- Breakage
- Dents
- Damage to the paint
- Damage to the door seals
- Any damaged metal or plastic panels
- Car interior damage
- Interior door panel damage

Consent and Satisfaction:
Once the client has confirmed, signed, and paid, they give us their consent that the work done is satisfactory, and we will not be responsible for any existing or future damages.
The client also agrees to the use of aftermarket Windshields and aftermarket urethane adhesives, knowing that this may affect the safety requirements as suggested by the OEM department.

Warranty Conditions and Limitations

The warranty is valid only if the client notifies BEST SERVICE AUTO GLASS LLC prior to taking the vehicle to another shop or dealership for repairs. In the event of a warranty issue, the client must contact BEST SERVICE AUTO GLASS LLC immediately.

Side Window and back glass Replacement Warranty and Guidelines
Exclusions and Limitations:

BEST SERVICE AUTO GLASS LLC is not responsible for any damage to window motors, regulators, door locks, moldings, or window sensors.
we are not responsible for resetting the side window regulator motor sensor.
- Door locks may be damaged, and doors may refuse to open due to small pieces of broken glass.
Please be aware that small pieces of broken glass can enter the locking system, motor, and regulator assembly, potentially causing damage to door and window locks. This may result in doors refusing to open or windows malfunctioning, moving down or up uncontrollably.
Please note that due to the complexity of this system, it is not possible to clean out the broken glass. If our invoice does not include a charge for an internal vacuum service for broken glass, we will not be responsible for resolving any issues that may arise from this.
In other words, if the internal vacuum service is not explicitly included in the invoice, we will not be responsible for any damage or malfunctions caused by broken glass in the locking system, motor, and regulatory assembly."
- New regulators come with a three-month warranty, The warranty will only be valid if the invoice explicitly states "Warranty Included" or "Warranty Applies". If the invoice does not indicate this, the warranty will not be applicable. In other words, if the invoice does not specifically mention the warranty, the customer should not assume that it is included, and the warranty will not be valid.
- Our warranty only covers basic cleaning of broken glass. We recommend having your car professionally cleaned to avoid any issues.

Warranty Work
- All warranty work must be performed by BEST SERVICE AUTO GLASS LLC.
- The warranty work cannot exceed the original cost of repair.

Terms and Conditions

1. OEM AND AFTERMARKET

The Person under our Glass ULTRA+/GlasSmart subscription, acknowledges and agrees that to speed up the installation process and keep the cost of coverage low for all of our customers, we will use aftermarket parts, ensuring that the replacement part offers the same functions and safety regulations.

2. AVAILABILITY AND STEPS

Even though the policy provides a time frame for replacement, all of our customers are subject to the availability of the replacement part at the time of the claim. If the aftermarket part that is needed is not available, we will go on to use or find another recycled part (Used Part) Used part in the automotive industry is part taken from an identical vehicle, ensuring that it is in perfect condition. If the part is also not available in the recycling market, we will have to request the OEM part, resulting in a wait that depends on the estimated time that the OEM supplier establishes. If, for some reason, the OEM glass is discontinued and it is no longer possible to order the OEM glass, we will proceed to give a refund. The refund will be subject to NAGS LIST PRICE minus discounts applied based on the calculations per auto insurances to ensure a fair price for all parties.
The Person under our Broken Glass Coverage Program acknowledges and agrees that the replacement time of broken glass will depend on the availability of the glass, if and when the glass is available in the market. Installation hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Saturday 9:00 am - 3:00 pm, and closed on Sunday. The replacement time of the damaged glass may be affected by holidays, weekends, or important events in the country.

3. CLAIMS AND LIMITATIONS

The Person under our Glass ULTRA+/GlasSmart subscription, acknowledges and agrees that if a customer takes their car to another provider to have their broken glass replaced, BEST SERVICE AUTO GLASS LLC will not be able to cover the expense or reimburse any amount. BEST SERVICE AUTO GLASS LLC will not be responsible for any damage caused by that installation done by other auto glass shop. BEST SERVICE AUTO GLASS LLC will not be able to pay or refund any amount generated by a replacement glass if the customer performs a glass replacement with another seller and does not notify BEST SERVICE AUTO GLASS LLC first. The claim cannot be enforced if you contact us with a fixed damage issue.
To avoid this problem, if you have broken glass, contact BEST SERVICE AUTO GLASS LLC immediately for a replacement or BEST SERVICE AUTO GLASS LLC can authorize another supplier if deemed necessary. Only the replacement department of BEST SERVICE AUTO GLASS LLC, can proceed with its replacement to maintain the lowest coverage prices and maximum control of your car care.
If a claim is submitted outside the state of California, from where the mailing address was registered in the contract, the insured will be subject to a deductible and different response times to the claim, as our service may be affected due to various factors in other states such as weather, time, prices, taxes, and service availability of our associates.

4. INSURED AND NON-INSURED DAMAGE

The Person under our Glass ULTRA+/GlasSmart subscription, acknowledges and agrees that the car glass damage coverage will cover damage from vandalism, car accident damage, damage from accidents with any property, damage from theft, and damage from accidents with a tree, branch, or damage from work accidents. BEST SERVICE AUTO GLASS LLC does not replace glass damaged in natural disasters, such as hail, earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, or any unknown natural disaster.

5. RELEASE OF INSURANCE AND DEDUCTIBLES

The Person under our Glass ULTRA+/GlasSmart subscription acknowledges and agrees that if a claim exceeds $250, the automobile insurance coverage will be used to offset the value of the glass, regardless of the deductible amount. Your automobile insurance policy will not be impacted by a glass breakage claim. This is to maintain our affordable coverage and facilitate a seamless process for our customers. In any case, Under our Glass ULTRA+/GlasSmart subscription, clients enjoy a $0 deductible benefit when filing a claim. To facilitate a seamless process, clients must provide their insurance policy number and necessary information, enabling BEST SERVICE AUTO GLASS LLC to replace the damaged glass at no cost. Please note that if a customer does not have an active auto insurance policy or declines the agreed upon terms, BEST SERVICE AUTO GLASS LLC will be unable to replace the broken glass. If the replacement and additional charges exceed the above amount
The Person under our Glass ULTRA+/GlasSmart subscription,will be free to cancel their policy if they wish, without guaranteeing a refund of previous payments.
The Person under our Glass ULTRA+/GlasSmart subscription, acknowledges and agrees that BEST SERVICE AUTO GLASS LLC will only be responsible for the replacement of the damaged glass if it complies with specific conditions. BEST SERVICE AUTO GLASS LLC will not be liable for any repairs that are not related to glass, such as existing damage to the body of the car, scratches, breakage, dents, damage to the paint, damage to the door seals, or any damaged metal or plastic panels, car interior damage, interior door panel damage, damaged locks or regulators damaged by broken glass pieces. BEST SERVICE AUTO GLASS LLC will not be responsible for resetting window regulators.
The Person under our Glass ULTRA+/GlasSmart subscription, acknowledges and agrees that Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) calibration, which is included in the windshield (some vehicles may not have ADAS) , is a separate process from windshield replacement. If we do not charge for windshield calibration, we are not responsible for calibration. BEST SERVICE AUTO GLASS LLC will be able to recalibrate but will be subject to a separate charge. BEST SERVICE AUTO GLASS LLC will call the auto insurance of The Person under our Broken Glass Coverage Program (Auto Insurance may cover the cost of calibration). BEST SERVICE AUTO GLASS LLC will not be responsible for personal loss from theft during glass damage and will not be liable for rental cars.

6. BILLING AND CANCELLATION

The Person under our Glass ULTRA+/GlasSmart subscription, acknowledges and agrees that our system will charge you according to the time cycle you have chosen, either monthly or annually. If the payment method provided by the client is rejected for any reason, the Broken Glass Coverage Program will still stay active according to the cycle period (monthly, quarterly, or yearly basis) until the cycle period expires. (Claims within active cycle periods will still be acceptable). However BEST SERVICE AUTO GLASS LLC will send an email and call to reinstate the payment method. If The Person under our Broken Glass Coverage Program does not respond to calls or emails, BEST SERVICE AUTO GLASS LLC will proceed with a grace period of 7 days for the client to reinstate their payment method. If the client does not respond within the grace period, BEST SERVICE AUTO GLASS LLC will cancel the Broken Glass Coverage Program policy, and the account will be frozen. The client will not have the right to claim any reimbursement for the money paid for coverage. However, if the customer reactivates the Broken Glass Coverage Program, they must start the contract from the beginning and repeat all steps to qualify.
The Person under our Glass ULTRA+/GlasSmart subscription, sells their car or gets rid of it for any reason, they must immediately notify BEST SERVICE AUTO GLASS LLC to update the information. In the event of a sale or gift transfer the Broken Glass Coverage Program account will be terminated. However the new customer can purchase the broken glass coverage program.
The Person under our Glass ULTRA+/GlasSmart subscription, acknowledges and agrees that any misleading or fraudulent claim may result in legal charges. The option of arbitration will be available. In order to avoid legal charges, The Person under our Broken Glass Coverage Program must avoid providing false or misleading information. The contract is always subject to the terms and conditions stated above. Remaining active will depend on the client's responsibility for their chosen payment cycle.
